13-YEAR-OLD THROWS EPIC TANTRUM AFTER BEING VOTED OFF ‘X-FACTOR’
It was a nail-biting moment for 13-year-old Rachel Crow and Marcus Canty, 20, as they waited for the judges on the popular Fox talent show “The X Factor” to decide their fate on Thursday night.
Contestant Rachel Crow and Marcus Canty stand on either side of host Steve Jones on the X-Factor.
Judge Nicole Scherzinger waffled in her decision that would have sent Canty home, as there were two counts against him and only one against Crow, for whom it was her first time in the bottom two. Schezinger decided to cast a vote that sent it into a deadlock. At this point, it was America’s vote that would decide who went home — and America chose Crow.
As host Steve Jones congratulated Canty, Crow — who was moved enough earlier to say ”I’m ok with anything” — lost it.

As Crow slumped to the floor, Jones shooed Canty off stage saying, “I’ll talk to you next week”, and turned to tend to Crow. As judge Simon Cowell and Crow’s mother took to the stage, the tantrum and wailing continued. Crow became coherent for a moment as her mother consoled her saying it was going to be ok. To which Crow responded,”you promised me?”
And Crow wasn’t the only one caught breaking down on film. Scherzinger who cast the vote that threw the decision to America’s opinion, had to have a moment herself. Paula Abdul
tried to comfort the distraught Scherzinger.

Jones did the best he could to draw attention away from the episode still being displayed on the stage by calling for a roll of highlights from Crow’s time on the show. After the reel, Crow composed herself enough to give an emotional monologue saying “…without you I am nothing. And I hope this is not my ending.”
